Celebrate the People Who Make Recovery Possible!

Recovery from an eating disorder takes a team. That’s why we’re working with Instagram and Project Heal on the #RecoveryHeroes campaign to celebrate all of the people who make recovery possible.

So, we want to hear from you! Who supported you on your journey to recovery? Who do you want to thank for all of their love and inspiration? Join the conversation and help us celebrate the people behind the scenes who make healing possible!

How to Participate:

Post a picture or video of yourself and your hero on Instagram with a caption talking about how they helped you on your journey using the #RecoveryHeroes and #NEDAwareness hashtags. Some posts will be selected to be re-posted on @Iskra, @NEDA, and @ProjectHeal during NEDAwareness Week (Feb. 26 – Mar. 4).

Here’s a Sample Caption:

To celebrate #NEDAwareness Week, I’d like to thank @aimee for being one of my #RecoveryHeroes. Because of her love and support, I was able to overcome one of the hardest obstacles in my life and learn to appreciate my healthy body.
